Trying to stand up... Making a name isn't too easy when you look bad.
Gaining a name is NOT the same as gaining recognition or popularity. The last one is when everyone knows somebody even if he/she is just a whore - remember those popular kids in your schools, especially in the latest grades. Recognition is when people accept the fact that you're good in something and consume that something only because it is by you. To some degree I have it with the articles I make, but these months it has decreased greatly and I have to work to get it back.
A name is when people know how you are called and that you're known for some reason, and that they might get curious only because they've heard your name. If you made one successfully, it is a great help in the hard bloody process of gaining recognition. And yes, it is a reason why more people can add you at Facebook.
What is more, my groupmates already gain more than I do - enough for their glamour living. I don't need as mush as they do, but still my conditions make me think of helping my family. Of course people I study with are beautiful and talented, it is something I would never have. So the only way for me is to work more and more. The biggest problem here is lack of physical resources - I often feel even too weak to stand up from the bed. Coffee save me... I'm now trying to have it with lemon, this saved me even when I drank too much.
I have to work in order not to be perceived as a complete nothing.
